The Oregon Education Association is a labor union and employer that is taking proactive and intentional steps to identify, examine, correct and eradicate all bias and barriers related to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age and differently-abled accessibility. We lead our intentional racial equity work with an Equity Team made up of all staff constituencies, a formal Equity Statement approved by our members and Board of Directors, an official Equity Filter we use when implementing our daily organizational work, and deep racial affinity group spaces in which all staff are expected to participate and advance. OEA is looking for employees to join our team who will be passionate about this equity, diversity and inclusion work.
