OEA's Center for Great Public Schools' Educator Empowerment Grant
Educator Empowerment grants will be awarded to help local associations engage members around important issues that impact teaching and learning.
The grant may be used to support professional learning and/or to enhance and improve professional practice in a specific area. Grant awards range from $1000-$5000. Contact Leah Starkovich at the Center for Great Public Schools for more information or ideas on professional practice organizing.
OEA Barb Drennan Promising Practices Grant Program
Have a plan that could enhance your classroom skills or boost student achievement? An idea for a site-based professional development activity that could build partnerships? OEA’s Center for Great Public Schools awards Promising Practice Grants to provide student learning and professional development for OEA members across Oregon.
Grants for this program are accepted until November 1.
OEA Local Leader Grants
Local Leader Grants of up to $2,500 are available to Locals to design implement program to meet member needs as directed by OEA's new organizational goals. Download a Local Leader Grant Application form.
OEA Foundation Grants
The OEA Foundation provides educators with up to $100 grants to help students meet basic, urgent and immediate needs so they can succeed in school. Cash grants from the Foundation fill needs unmet by any other source. Learn more about the OEA Foundation and apply for a grant to help a student in need.
OEA Choice Trust Grants
Through the OEA Choice Trust Wellness Grant Program, school employees will have the opportunity to improve their health, be role models, and even a catalyst for community wellness and health.
California Casualty Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant Program
The California Casualty Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant program is accepting applications for public high schools whose athletic programs are in jeopardy and in great need of funding. California Casualty Music & Arts Grants
The California Casualty Music & Arts Grant was established to provide support for K-12 public schools negatively impacted by reduced budgets. California Casualty has partnered with OEA for many years and they understand the importance of music and arts education for children.
