Antiracist education is a relatively new construct, but related research offers insight into promising practices for advancing antiracist education, including critically engaging young people around issues related to race. Successful antiracist education also requires a whole-school approach that aligns policies, practices, curricula, and the attitudes of individuals within an ethos of antiracism.
This webinar will present two examples of programs designed to identify and confront racism in schools, as well as a panel discussion in which students reflect on their experiences with antiracism work in their schools, including challenges and opportunities.
