Research shows that children are experiencing a range of unpleasant emotions right now, including anxiety, frustration, and boredom. As the adults raising and teaching children, it’s critical to make space for their feelings and to support them in discovering the strategies that work best for them.

In this session, Dr. Marc Brackett, Founder and Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, will share a 4-step process to support adults in (1) being culturally responsive and emotionally intelligent role models for children and (2) helping children build a repertoire of healthy emotion regulation strategies to support their well-being and academic success.
