ESP Leaders for Tomorrow
DESCRIPTION
The OEA Leaders for Tomorrow (LFT) program is a hands–on leadership development program intended to train OEA Education Support Professional (ESP) and Classified Employees to be strong leaders. This program will train current and future leaders in leadership attitudes and equip you with the skills and knowledge that will enhance your ability to be a visible, vocal advocate at the local and state level. Leaders for Tomorrow will prepare members to take on leadership roles in their local association, school/work site and community.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Prepare ESP and Classified Employees to take on leadership roles
- Sharpen advocacy skills
- Examine Implicit Bias and Microaggressions
- Enhance internal and external organizing skills
- Polish communication skills to create and deliver effective presentations
