*Note on weather: the march is still on! Unless you hear otherwise via email at the address you used to register for the march, plan to join us!
10:00am Arrivals and staging on Capitol Steps
10:30am Rally on Capitol Steps
11:00am March begins (loop starting and ending on Capitol Steps)
11:30am March ends
11:45am Complete and drop off story cards to legislative offices (blank cards will be available at tables near Capitol Steps when you arrive)
Bring warm/rain gear and don’t forget to wear Red for Ed!
Parking and Transportation
Since February 18th is a holiday, there is no charge for street parking in Salem that day. The Yellow and Green state employee parking lots on Winter St. will also be available for free parking on February 18th.
Bus transportation is at capacity. See the following pick-up locations if you have already made arrangements to travel by bus:
Portland Locations - all buses will be departing by 8:30AM
Wilson High School

Jefferson High School
5210 N Kirby Ave.
Madison High School
2735 NE 82nd Ave.
Eugene Location - All buses will be departing by 8:15AM

Make your Presidents Day count and show up for students. Join educators in Salem to march for education funding on February 18th.
Huge class sizes and caseloads. Room clears. Missing support staff. Our students deserve better.
It’s time to show our lawmakers that our schools need funding now. Let’s march to tell them our students can’t wait.
