Jump Start Registration Info
Please register from your preferred e-mail address and enter the address accurately in the boxes provided. There will be many important details sent to your email prior to the event. Accurately entering your preferred email will help prevent any communication errors or lost emails!
Who should attend?
National Board Jump Start OEA registration fees include breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks each day, training fees, clock hours and materials. Up to 28 Clock Hours are available for the OEA National Board Jump Start. All participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
Seminar seats will be prioritized by candidates who are officially registered with the National Board. This is a separate registration process and you must do this first. You may register with the National Board here www.boardcertifiedteachers.org. You will need your National Board Candidate ID number in the registration information below. If you do not have a candidate ID when you register for Jump Start, please enter the word “NONE”. You will be allowed to register for Jump Start.

- You MUST be an OEA member and will need your OEA membership ID if you wish to register. If you are having difficulty locating your OEA membership card, please reach out to your local education association to get it.
- You must read the NBPTS Guidelines for Ethical Candidate Support policy as you will be asked during registration to verify that you have read and will follow the guidelines. Click here to read the policy.
- Important note for World Language Other than English (WLOE) candidates: The National Board recently announced changes to eligibility requirements for World Language candidates. Please see the Guide to National Board Certification for more information.
Once you have completed the registration and payment process our online system will send you an email confirmation. Please print and save the email confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation within 12 hours of registration, please email Tonia Davis for information and further instructions.
