2008 OEA Working Wonders Contest Winners
62 video entries were submitted. A panel of OEA members and staff selected eight finalists. Voting was then opened to the public and the thousands of votes cast selected the three top winners who will receive cash prizes to be divided equally among the video creator, featured educator, and featured school.

First Place ($2000 per recipient)
Educator: Julie Sparling, Drama & Writing Teacher
School: Rosa Parks Elementary

Second Place ($1000 per recipient)
Educator: Jeremiah Hubbard, History & Sociology Teacher
School: Southridge High School, Beaverton
Video Creator: Jenny Smith, Southridge Student

Third Place ($500 per recipient)
Educator: Isabel Campos, Instructional Assistant
School: Henry Hill Elementary, Independence
Video Creators: Bill Ramsdell & Dick Keis
