National PTA
Go to the National PTA web site to find links to the state and local parent-teacher associations in Oregon. These local web sites have event schedule and contact information. www.pta.org

Click on a variety of pages such as "Parent Involvement," "Tips for Parents," or go to the "Site Map", then "local PTA", then "Oregon." In many cases you can be connected directly to your local PTA organization, local schools and more. You'll also find an almost endless list of resources.

Connect for Kids
This site provides gobs of guidance for grown-ups. Endorsed by the National Education Association, the Benton Foundation and the Advertising Council, it offers a variety of tips, resources and advice for students and parents. Click on "state by state" and make the Oregon connection. www.connectforkids.org

Northwest Regional Education Laboratory's Parent Information and Resource Center (PIRC)
PIRC is a collaborative project between NWREL and a number of other community-based organizations. The center offers comprehensive services and resources to parents as families, as well as professionals working with families and children in the state of Oregon. www.nwrel.org/pirc/index.html
