How Do I Make A Request for Funds?

Foundation grant requests for the 2010-11 school year will be accepted August 31, 2010 – June 1, 2011. All active OEA members are eligible to request grants for their public education students.

Over the summer months (June 2-August 31, 2011) we do not accept new applications for funding. Please RESUBMIT this application again in the fall if you still wish to obtain Foundation support for your student. Have a good summer.

Two Methods to Request a Grant:
1. Complete an application online.
2. Print out and complete an application form and either fax (503-624-5814) or mail the form to:

OEA Foundation's Grant Request Process
- Each grant will be reviewed to assure the request meets the guidelines.
- If a grant meets the criteria and is for $100 or less the request will be promptly processed.
- If the grant is over $100 the request will be reviewed at the next Foundation Board meeting.
- If the grant does not meet the criteria the member requesting the grant will be notified as to what criteria was not met in the request.

Funding of Grants
Once a grant is approved a check will be sent payable to the member requesting the grant

Purchase of Items
Once a member receives the Foundation check, the member should purchase the approved items.
- No gift cards can be purchased.
- Funds must not be turned over to a student, parent, guardian, or family member. Funds must be spent on behalf of the student by the OEA member.

Purchases
Purchases should be made within 30 days of receipt of the Foundation check.

All receipts and remaining grant funds (if the total amount was not expended) should be sent to:
