OEA Governance

The Oregon Education Association is governed by the OEA Board of Directors, which is chaired by the OEA President. OEA members are elected to serve on the board by fellow Association members in 30 districts across the state.

The statewide offices of OEA President and OEA Vice President are elected biannually by member-delegates attending the OEA Representative Assembly. Those member-delegates are elected by Association members in councils across the state.
