Our Community

The members of the Oregon Education Association are teachers, education support professionals, and faculty working in Oregon's preK-12 public schools and community colleges. We welcome your involvement in our classrooms, and look forward to partnering with you in your child's education and supporting the public schools in your community.

Online Resources for Parents & Community Members

If you're looking to take a more active role in your child's education, contact your child's teacher and discuss how you can support your child's learning in and out of the classroom. Find out if your child's school has a parent volunteer coordinator and speak with that person about volunteer opportunities. Check out our parent resources page, and explore our downloadable parent guides to get tips straight from Oregon teachers!

Community Event Calendar

OEA provides an Event Bulletin Board/Calendar as a service to education- and community-based organizations and institutions. If you're involved with an organization hosting an education or community-related event, use the Event Submission Form to request a posting to the Event Calendar.

Volunteer Opportunities

OEA provides this Volunteer Opportunities bulletin board as a service to education- and community-based organizations and institutions. Postings on this bulletin board do not indicate an endorsement by the Oregon Education Association. To submit an item for posting, contact webadmin@oregoned.org.
