Our Association

Founded in 1858, the Oregon Education Association is the strongest advocate for educators in the state. OEA includes teachers, counselors, school librarians, social workers, psychologists, and nurses, education support professionals, community college faculty, and other specialists working in Oregon's public schools. Together, OEA has become the most inclusive and most powerful voice of educators in Oregon.
