Why Should Oregonians Vote for Measure 57? It's a Better Way to Fight Crime
Measure 57 increases sentences for certain drug traffickers, property offenders, and identity thieves. Drug dealers who prey on our kids, and thieves who target the elderly deserve the tougher sentences that Measure 57 requires.

Measure 57 is the only crime measure that requires drug treatment for certain offenders, and tougher sentences for those who refuse treatment. 85% of incarcerated property offenders are struggling with addiction, and 49% of those re-offend after release. By requiring treatment, Measure 57 stops the cycle f crime and Oregon’s revolving‐door justice system.

Measure 57 was crafted by the people you trust: Police, sheriffs, DAs, drug treatment advocates, and advocates for seniors and kids know that a one‐size‐fits‐all sentencing gimmick isn’t going to work.

Measure 57 is The Better Way to Fight Crime!
