Representative Assembly

OEA's Representative Assembly is the largest deliberative body of union members in Oregon, averaging more than 600 member-delegates each year. Interested in becoming a delegate for the 2014 RA? Check in with your local president!

2014 OEA Representative Assembly

This year's OEA Representative Assembly will take place May 2-3, 2014 at Red Lion Hotel on the River—Jantzen Beach, Portland, Oregon.

Lodging

Make your reservations by visiting the Red Lion Hotel on the River—Jantzen Beach, Portland, Oregon (NOTE: All King rooms are sold out; only double queens are available now).

  • Lodging expense for all delegates utilizing hotel accommodations shall be reimbursed at one-half the double occupancy including tax, not to exceed $68.13 per night, (one half the rate of approved RA accommodations plus tax).  Reimbursement requires you stay at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach Portland.  (Failure to use the minimum number of rooms reserved results in expensive charges for our meeting rooms.)
  • Delegates who reside within 50 miles of the RA site will not be reimbursed for lodging expenses.
  • Delegates who reside 50 miles or further away from the RA site may be reimbursed for up to two nights’ lodging.  Delegates who live between 50 and 100 miles from the RA site must attend the Banquet to be reimbursed for the second night’s lodging.
  • Delegates who live more than 100 miles from the RA site will be reimbursed for both night’s lodging.
